The Truths We Embrace
The Bible as God's authoritative Word and that all people have been invited to be rescued from the consequences of sin and reconciled to God by His grace, through faith in Jesus. Our mission is to share the Gospel and make disciples, trusting in His work to bring about true spiritual transformation.
Statement of Faith
The Truths we hold are deeply rooted in the Bible, which is the divinely inspired  and inerrant  Word of God and the primary way He communicates His truth to humanity.  We acknowledge and worship the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who is the sovereign creator of all things,  who sustains the universe and holds all things in His mighty hands.
All human beings are equally created in God’s image.  Women, men, and those born intersex  are all fearfully and wonderfully made by God,  with inherent dignity  and worth,  and without inherent subordination  or inferiority.  Within the church, Christ is the supreme head,  and all believers, regardless of their earthly distinctions, are united under His authority and leadership.  No human being is good,  rather we are each sinners  separated from God  and incapable of achieving salvation through our own efforts.  it is only by God’s grace that any person receives salvation.
It is through the transformative work of God the Holy Spirit that we recognize our desperate need for salvation.  The Holy Spirit works in our hearts,  convicting us of our sin, righteousness, and the coming judgment.  And, it is only through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that we can be reconciled to God the Father.
Through Christ’s death on the cross, Jesus took on the punishment for our sins,  making it possible for us to be saved.  And after three days, Jesus rose from the dead,  triumphing over both death  and sin,  and granting us the assurance of eternal life  and the promise of everlasting joy  and fellowship with God.
Salvation is a gift of grace, given to us through faith in Jesus Christ alone.  It is the work of the Holy Spirit that enables us to receive this gift and be justified by faith.  This is the good news of the gospel, the message of reconciliation between God and all people who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  As an outward sign of this inward transformation, we publicly profess our faith and are baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Baptism symbolizes the death of our old life and rebirth as new creations in Christ.  It is an act of obedience and a sign, not a means, of our inclusion in the body of Christ.
But, our journey does not end there. We are called to follow Christ  as we participate in the ongoing work of reconciliation.  This is a vital part of our faith, and it begins with our own personal reconciliation with God through faith in Jesus.
As we follow Christ, we are called to be part of a covenant community, the church,  where we grow in our faith and experience the transformative power of the gospel.  Central to the life of the church is the pure preaching of the Word,  which is not merely an academic exercise but a powerful encounter with the living God,  who uses His Word to awaken, convict, and comfort the hearts of believers.  While the subjective experience is important, the priority must rest upon the unchanging objective truth of Scripture , ensuring our feelings and interpretations align with the unchanging Word of God.
We are called to bear witness against all forms of injustice,  to bring justice to the oppressed,  and to provide for the needs of the poor and the hungry.  In following Christ, we are empowered to be agents of justice, to let righteousness flow like water and justice like an unfailing stream.
On this page, you will find a summary of the core truths that we embrace, based on the teachings of the Bible. We invite you to read more about what these truths and join us in spreading the love and hope found in Jesus Christ.
